The story about meat being carcinogenic really got people yanked up… for obvious reason I should add. I mean, this is meat we are talking about here folks, meat!
In case you missed it, the story is that according to the World Health Organization (WHO), processed meats – such as bacon, sausages and ham – do cause cancer. Additionally, red meats are “probably carcinogenic” but there was limited evidence.
Just to be clear, processed meat is meat that has been modified to either extend its shelf life or change the taste and the main methods are smoking, curing, or adding salt or preservatives. It includes bacon, sausages, hot dogs, salami, corned beef, beef jerky and ham as well as canned meat and meat-based sauces. So according tot he BBC, simply putting beef through a mincer does not mean the resulting mince is “processed” unless it is modified further.

The purpose of my post today is not to get into a discussion on whether the report is right or not, no I will leave that to the scientists. For now all i want to do is to ask you: Will you quit eating meat? Are you concerned about it at all? Does it matter to you?
I am looking forward to reading your comments.
