God’s Envoys – Touching Lives, One Song At A Time!
I am glad to be actively a part of God’s Envoys Music. God’s Envoys is a group of Christians serving God through the Ministry of Music. We stand to represent God and serve Him by sharing His love and light to others through music and other related ministries. The language of music transcends all cultural, economic, political or ethnic barriers and its Gods gift for us to use in reaching the world.
Our mission is God’s great commission to win souls to His kingdom. As God’s Envoys, we are ambassadors appointed to spread the message of love and salvation through our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ and bringing Glory, Praise and Honour to God through our primary gift of music.
We are stirred by God’s love towards us, the love that led Him to send His only Son to die for us all. In response to this love, we devote our lives to serve Him and lead others to His unconditional reconciling love. “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God,” 2 Corinthians 5:20.
Our music includes of a range of genres that include traditional to local and international contemporary music. Whatever the style, one thing is constant – our desire to sing about God’s great saving love for humanity and His desire to reconcile mankind to Him. Ours are songs of hope, encouragement and salvation, inspired by the wondrous and countless experiences of God’s love. These are either experiences we share as a group or those from others across the world.
The group’s core values are defined by the word – ATTITUDE.
A – Acceptance of the Lord’s call
T – Trust in the Lord
T – Thorough devotion to Preparation and Rehearsal
I – Integrity
T – Timeliness
U – Utilization of God given Talents
D – Dedication to God’s work
E – Excellence in Music Ministry
God’s Envoys has grown as a ministry in its existence that spans over a decade. In this period, God has led us through several milestones such as the expansion of the group from being an all-male group; the release of our debut DVD project “Jesus Saves”; releasing our first EP “Amazing Grace” and our current album “Tumulumbe”; ministering in several towns in Zambia, and holding witnessing music ventures.
We are dynamic in our approach to ministry as God continues to break barriers and open doors for us. For instance, we have employed the tools of social media in order to reach even more people and are constantly looking for new ways to spreading the gospel. As our ministry continues to evolve, we remain to true to our faith and fundamental beliefs.
